Delicious (and easy) hot cocoa recipe of your dreams!
Even if you're not a fan of chocolate, you'll love this. She’s sweet but not too sweet, and just the right amount of richness to keep you coming back for more
I’ve worked for years to perfect this recipe. The pic above is even from 2021 when I built a food photography studio in my dorm when I made this recipe for the first time, and posted it on YouTube (the vid is still there too lol).
This recipe truly brings people together and I hope it warms you up like it does me.

Enough of that though, without further ado, let’s get to it:
(also single serve recipe is also below, duh!)
Full batch recipe: (serves 8-10)
12 cups milk
12 oz sweetened condensed milk
½ cup dutch cocoa powder
¾ cup maple syrup
1.5 tbsp vanilla extract
12 oz semi sweet chocolate, finely chopped
Pinch salt
(Optional: 1 tsp espresso powder)
And surprise: here’s the single serve batch recipe 🎁
1.5 cups milk
3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoons Dutch cocoa powder
1.5 tablespoons maple syrup
.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pinch of salt
(Optional: pinch of espresso powder)
Just combine everything in a pot and let it simmer on medium to low (leaning more towards low) until chocolate chips are completely melted.
I also make this in a crockpot when I’m having a large party and want to keep it warm without access to a stove.
<3 ENJOY! LOVE YOU
