I may not know anything about football, but if there was a football game day food superbowl, these would devour the competition 😉

Alright, let’s go!
Recipe:
Servings: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
2-13.8oz cans Pillsbury pizza dough
8 mozzarella string cheese sticks, cut into thirds
½ cup BBQ sauce
16 oz chopped brisket
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Flaky salt (optional)
For the Garlic Herb Butter:
4 tbsp salted butter, melted
¼ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
2 small garlic cloves, minced (or 1 large clove)
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped basil
Salt & pepper to taste
To Serve:
2 mozzarella sticks, sliced into 3rds long ways for the football laces
Extra BBQ sauce for dipping
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Prepare the Dough & Filling:
Unroll the pizza dough from both cans and cut each sheet into 12 even squares (24 total). Set aside.Assemble the Buns:
Place 1 teaspoon of BBQ sauce in the center of each dough square. Add a piece of mozzarella (1/3 of a string cheese stick) and a heaping teaspoon of chopped brisket on top. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, forming a ball.Shape the Football:
Arrange the filled dough balls on the parchment-lined tray in the shape of a football. Start from the outer edges, working your way toward the center. (Refer to a video or image for guidance if needed.)Egg Wash & Bake:
Brush the tops of the dough balls with the beaten egg. Sprinkle flaky salt on top if desired. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and cooked through.Make Garlic Herb Butter:
While the buns bake, combine melted butter, Parmesan, minced garlic, parsley, basil, and salt & pepper in a small bowl.Finish & Garnish:
After the buns are done baking, immediately brush them with the garlic herb butter. For extra flair, garnish with crispy bacon for a "red" touch and shredded cheddar for "gold" color.Serve:
Place slices of cheese (sliced mozzarella sticks) in the center to resemble the football laces and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
