Maryland-ish Crab Dip (Crab Cake Dip) | NFL Teams As Food: Baltimore Ravens
I added some saltine crackers to the top for some texture, but was quickly told that was not culturally accurate to Maryland 😭

Alright, let’s go!
Maryland-ish Crab Dip (Crab Cake Dip) Recipe:
Servings: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
2x 8 oz full-fat brick cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 cup shredded smoked gruyere cheese, divided
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp Old Bay seasoning, plus more for topping
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup sliced green onions, plus more for garnish
1 lb fresh lump crab meat
1 cup saltines, crushed (optional)
Blue corn tortilla chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, hot sauce, soy sauce, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and sliced green onions. Mix well until smooth and evenly blended.
Fold in the fresh lump crab meat and half of the shredded cheddar and smoked Gruyere cheeses. Gently mix to distribute the crab meat throughout the dip.
Transfer the mixture into a 10-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar and smoked Gruyere cheeses over the top of the dip.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling and the top is golden brown.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle extra Old Bay seasoning on top, if desired. (Optional) If you’d like a crunchy topping, sprinkle the crushed saltines on top of the cheese.
Serve warm with (purple) blue corn tortilla chips for dipping.

As a DMV girlie, I’m tickled by the note about the saltines lol! It gave me an idea to try it with oyster crackers, though!
